In the previous part we talked about the amazing coincidences in religions, rituals and traditions of different societies separated from each other by space and time. And wherever we find primitive societies, there are already two things – music and intoxicating drinks or means. Music in general is one of the main weapons of Iblis. Nothing kills iman, faith in a person, like music. And in the hadith from Imam Sadiq (A): when Adam died, Cain and Iblis began to sing and dance. And so, the Imam says, everyone on the face of the earth who listens to music and dances is like these two – Cain and Iblis.
As we have already said, Iblis is in no hurry. Step by step he imposes his program… Gradually, the dirtiest, most disgusting things first become normal, and then exemplary. The awliya of shaitan gradually introduce them through the mechanisms of power, and they become the norm.
Look, for example, at the pagan cults with which shaitan has entangled the earth, forcing them on people instead of the religion of Adam. When you get acquainted with pagan mythology, you get the impression that all this was born in the brain of a madman. There are all kinds of abominations that can only be imagined – incest, cannibalism, orgies, homosexuality, deification of power … And all this was reflected on the social plane …
Through his awliya, Iblis penetrates the brain of this or that society and decomposes it from within. The awliya of Satan are a special type of people whom he moves to the top of the social pyramid. As a rule, these are physically and mentally damaged people obsessed with a thirst for power and revenge on other people. Perhaps someone could ask: how can mentally handicapped and damaged people achieve power over society and influence it? The answer is that they are the ones who achieve it. A mentally and physically healthy person is rarely obsessed with such things as the will to power or the search for ways to manipulate people. He simply leads his life. Whereas these abilities are usually developed by flawed people tormented by various pathologies, which we can see even in our ordinary everyday experience, when a normal person becomes defenseless against the means of manipulation, deceit and malice developed by various kinds of degenerates. Hence such a large concentration of various pathological types, maniacs and psychopaths at the highest levels of power. And where the thirst for power, pathology, the most base and evil complexes are concentrated – there Iblis already reigns completely. In fact, Iblis himself was like that, because he first saw himself humiliated before Adam, and then tried to displace this humiliation complex through pride, through the thirst for power over the human race. In the inflamed, crazy imagination of these awliya of Satan, ideologies, cults and teachings are born, which Iblis implants as an alternative to the Truth – the religion of the prophets and successors.
Look at this interesting moment. Where did the actual founder of philosophy, Socrates, get his knowledge from? There were philosophers before Socrates, but the founder of the Western European philosophical method was Socrates, Plato’s teacher. He said that there was a demon, a daemon, near him, who inspired him with this. A well-known thing in the history of philosophy, “Socrates’ daemon”, you can look it up yourself, it is in any philosophy textbook… A certain voice gave him instructions on what to do and what not to do, what to say, advised him… And this is the beginning of Western philosophy.
At the end of the Western philosophical tradition stands Nietzsche. And it is striking that Nietzsche also admitted that he was under some kind of suggestion, that he invents his concepts and writes texts not on his own, but as if something dictates to him. Let us open his last book, Ecce Homo, Behold the Man. It is his autobiography. In the chapter about the birth of his main work, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, he writes: “Does anyone at the end of the nineteenth century have a clear concept of what the poets of powerful eras called inspiration? If not, I want to describe it. With the slightest remnant of superstition, it is really difficult to defend oneself from the idea that you are only an incarnation, only a mouthpiece, only a medium for superpowers. The concept of revelation in the sense that something suddenly becomes visible, audible with unspeakable certainty and precision, and shakes and overturns a person to the very depths, is simply a description of a factual state. You hear without searching; you take without asking who is giving here; like lightning, a thought flashes, with necessity, in a form that does not allow hesitation – I have never had a choice. Delight, the enormous tension of which is sometimes resolved in streams of tears, during which the steps involuntarily become sometimes stormy, sometimes slow; partial insanity with an extremely clear consciousness of countless subtle tremors down to the very toes … Everything happens in the highest degree involuntarily, but as if in a stream of feeling freedom, unconditionality, strength, divinity … “
What is this? Inna shayatyna la-yuhuna ila auliyaikhim – “The shaitans give revelations to their auliya.”
Look at this example, how Iblis works. Philosophy originated in ancient Greece around the 5th century BC. At the same time, in Palestine, among the people of Israel, a prophetic sermon is heard. And what does the shaitan do? He develops philosophical thinking, false wisdom, in the neighboring Greek region. Philosophy means “love of wisdom.” Whereas true wisdom is the knowledge of the prophets. And so that people, when the sermon of the prophets comes here, do not accept it, the shaitan develops an alternative thinking called “philosophy”… So that when the sermon of the prophets comes here, people will say: no, we do not need this, we have philosophy, we have our own wisdom, we have reasonableness, rationality, we have Plato and Aristotle… We do not need prophets…
And in general, such a thing is characteristic here that this false wisdom grabs at anything, but the only thing that all its directions deny is the prophets and revelation. And here there is such a tendency, which is very noticeable in Western humanitarian science – to deny the very existence of prophets. This is also one of the inspirations of the shaitan, of course. Supposedly there were no prophets at all, all this is fairy tales, myths. And that is why Allah swears in many places in the Quran, takes an oath that it was… It was, don’t say that it wasn’t!..
Or take the political world. One of the most striking examples is Hitler. Heiden describes his observations of him, I will read: “Suddenly, in the middle of a conversation, Hitler’s face becomes tense, as if from an inner vision. At these moments, his repulsive features seem to disappear, and something transcendental intensifies to such a degree that it becomes frightening. His eyes look into the distance, as if reading or distinguishing something that no one else is capable of seeing … And now this man, who a minute before had been awkwardly standing nearby, from time to time muttering remarks that did not even change the direction of the conversation, suddenly becomes seized with determination and begins to speak. The whole room is filled with his voice. Despotic manners suppress anyone who tries to interrupt or contradict him. A chill runs down the spine from the cruelty of his statements. Every object is submitted to the judgment of history, even the most insignificant thing seems great. Then the listener is filled with awe and feels that a new being has entered the room. This thundering demon was not here before – there is nothing in common between him and the timid, stooped little man. He is capable of this transformation both in a personal conversation and in front of a half-million audience.”
That is, Hitler was like a medium through whom something else was speaking. All his contemporaries noted this.
Rauschning writes: “At the beginning of the conversation, it was as if he was not listening or did not understand you; he was indifferent and, so to speak, amorphous. Only a man was visible, immersed for hours in some strange contemplation… And suddenly – as if a button had been pressed – he begins a rapid speech, speaks in a high voice, passionately, furiously. In his creaky voice with rolling “r”s, he shouts out arguments; they follow one after another, faster and faster, more numerous… He shouts, thunders, as if addressing a crowd of thousands. The orator woke up, the great orator of the Roman tradition, the tribune… And suddenly the flow stops. Hitler falls silent. He seems exhausted, as if his batteries had run out. He is absent-minded and inert again.”
I cited Hitler only as the most obvious example, who suffered a defeat, and therefore his contemporaries left frank memories of him.
Awliya shaitan… When Iblis sees that a person responds to him – in his deeds or in his heart – he strives to raise him up in human society. And to preserve him. Have you ever wondered, for example, why tyrants usually live so long? They survive dozens and hundreds of assassination attempts… And vice versa, if Iblis sees that a person is on the true path, he strives to humiliate him in the eyes of other people, to lower him in human society, so that he has no influence, so that others consider him some kind of crazy, strange and generally dubious type…
Wa qazalika ja’alna li-kulli nabiyi Aduvwa shayatinah l-insi wa’l jinn – “And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy – shaitans from among mankind and jinn” (6:112). The shaitans from among mankind are the very awliya’ of Iblis to whom he gives revelation. And Allah here says about Himself that He made these enemies – in the sense that He gave them strength, He made their existence possible, opened the way for them. They exist through the strength that He gave them.
And look, such an interesting moment: when the conspirators of Saqifah took the oath of allegiance to the first accursed, the first one to take it was Iblis. The first one to take the oath at Saqifah was Satan! When Salman came to the Commander of the Faithful (A), who was busy washing the body of the Messenger of Allah (S), he said that the people on the minbar of the Prophet had sworn allegiance to Abu Bakr. Amir asked: “Do you know who was the first to swear allegiance to him?” Salman said: “No. But I saw an old man leaning on a staff. There was a strong mark of prostration on his forehead, and he was crying and saying: “Praise be to Allah, Who did not let me die before I saw you in this place!” Then he said: “Stretch out your hand!” And he stretched out his hand, and he swore allegiance to him. And then he said: “The day is like the day of Adam.” And the Commander of the Believers (A) said: “O Salman, do you know who it was?” He said: “No.” Amir said: “It was Iblis, may Allah curse him.”
“The day is like the day of Adam,” said Iblis. That is: now I have taken revenge on Adam for what happened to me. “The day is like the day of Adam” … And it is amazing that here Iblis, who refused to honor Adam, broke his pride and himself came and swore allegiance to the first usurper.
Since Cain killed Abel, the entire history of mankind has revolved around the party of the shaitan, hizb ushshaitan. Everything connected with the party of Allah was only isolated glimpses. And in general, such a thing came in the hadiths of Ahl al-Bayt. The believer has no share in the world that exists before the advent of Imam Mahdi. All this the kingdom of shaitan. This period contains nothing but trials for us. The time of believers is the kingdom of Rajah in this dunya and the kingdom of the akhirat in the next world.
Unfortunately, many Shiites have fallen under the influence of the “people of the crowd”, believing that after the advent of Imam Mahdi (A), the Day of Judgement will immediately come. In reality, the advent of the Imam of the time (A) will only be the beginning of a new world era that will last tens of thousands of years. The time of Zuhur, which we are all waiting for now, is only the gate of Rajah. This will be the fulfillment of all divine promises to the prophets and successors. Hizbu Allah humu l-ghalibuun – “the party of Allah – they are the victors”, says the Quran. This verse speaks of Rajah, because until now in this dunya the party of Allah has never been the victors. Until the advent of Rajah, Allah postponed helping the “party of Allah” and its victory over the “party of shaitan”. As we already mentioned, the angels said when creating Adam: “Will You place there one who will shed blood and do evil?..” But when Allah showed them the victory of truth in Rajah, the Kingdom of kingdoms (dawlatu dduwal) and the paradise of the earth, when in this dunya the paradise of barzakh will again be manifested – that is, the final fulfillment of His program regarding this dunya – the angels fell silent and said: “You know what we do not know.” And then the completion of Iblis’s program will come. In the Surah “Sad” we read: “He said (that is, Iblis said): “O my Lord, give me respite until the day when they will be resurrected. He said: “You are of those who have been rescheduled until the day of a certain time.”
That is, Iblis asks to give him a respite until the Day of Judgement, but Allah reprieves him not until the Day of Judgement, but until the “day of a certain time,” “the day of a certain term.” What is this day of a certain time? The advent of Imam Mahdi, the Qaim of the family of Muhammad.
Ishaq ibn Amar narrates: “One day I came to Imam Sadiq (A) and read him this verse: “You are of those who have been rescheduled until the day of a certain time.” I asked him what this day is when the shaitan will be destroyed? The Imam (A) said: “Do you think that this is the Day of Judgement? Oh no! This is the day of the advent of the Qaim of the family of Muhammad. When he comes out of concealment, he will enter the mosque of Kufa. There the shaitan will appear before him on his knees and say: “Woe to me from this day, how hard it is!” and he will kill him with his own hand” (Bihar, Vol. 6, P. 264).
Iblis, like all the wicked (of which he is the leader), will have a death and a raja’ah. His death, as we have said, will come at the hands of Imam Mahdi (A), who will kill him for the first time in the era of Zuhur. And although Iblis will lose his physical appearance, his spirit and program will continue to operate among people – until his raja’ah together with the entire army takes place, and then the Messenger of Allah (S) will kill him. Imam Sadiq (A) says: “When the day of the appointed time comes, Iblis will appear – may Allah curse him! – with all his Shiites who were from the time of Adam until the day of the appointed time – and this is the last return of the commander of the believers (A).” He was asked: “Will he have more than one return?” He said: “Yes, he has more than one return. There is no Imam but the righteous and the sinners of his time would return with him, so that Allah would separate the believer from the unbeliever. And when the day of the appointed term comes, the Commander of the Believers (A) will return with his companions, and Iblis will come with his companions, and there will be a term (meeting) between them on the land near the land of Furat, which is called “Rauha”, not far from your Kufa, and there will be a battle between them such as has not happened since the time when Allah created the worlds. And now it seems to me that I see the companions of the Commander of the Believers Ali (A), how they retreated a hundred steps, and it seems to me that I see how the feet of some of them entered the waters of Furat. And then the Smasher of the shadow of the clouds and the angels will come to them (2:210), and the matter will be decided, and before him is the Messenger of Allah (S), in his hand is a spear of light. And when Iblis sees this, he will retreat and run. And his companions will say to him: “Where are you going, since you have won?!” And he will say to them: “I see what you do not see” (8:48); “I fear Allah, the Lord of the worlds” (59:16). And the Prophet (S) will catch up with him and strike him with a spear, and he will die, and all his Shiites will die. And then they will worship Allah, not associating anyone with Him, and the Commander of the Believers (A) will rule for forty-four thousand years. Then each Shiite will give birth to a thousand male children, and two dark green gardens will appear near the mosque of Kufa.” (“Mukhtasar Basair”, p. 115).
“Two dark green gardens will appear near the mosque of Kufa” – that is, the paradise gardens of Barzakh, which are mentioned in the Surah “The Merciful”, will appear. So, the history of the family of Adam began with Ahl al-Bayt – and will end with them, in their kingdom, under their great power – “We gave the family of Ibrahim the scripture and wisdom and gave them great power.” We ask Allah to speed up this time and protect us from the temptations of the accursed Iblis! Amin!
